This is because the same make and model laptop will often use different component versions, which can affect successful compatibility. Some laptops are more difficult than others, so cost can vary greatly, depending on the make and model of the laptop. As a result, we prefer to be thorough in order to guarantee success.

There are lots of reasons why a computer won’t turn on. Most commonly, this is due to electrical damage or a liquid spill. But there can be many other reasons too. It is also common for people to buy a computer from some “big box store” or off the internet, only to find out later that it was built with cheap components that fail. Sometimes, rodents or insects have gotten into the computer and damaged something inside. Over the years, we have seen it all, so don’t be afraid to bring us a strange problem.
We can typically diagnose the problem quickly, often within a few days. Repairs will depend on the specific problem, and whether or not we need to replace parts. So expect a few phone calls while we work through solving your problem. We will keep you informed

These problems are often caused by failing components, software conflicts, incompatible drivers, or overheating issues. These problems can even be caused by a combination of minor issues that all have to occur in tandem.
Replicating the problem and uncovering the cause can be tedious, and sometimes requires a lot of trial and error. It helps if the customer can sit with us to replicate the problem, which can help us diagnose the cause more quickly. Don’t worry, we will work through it. We are pretty good at this, after all.
